WOKINGHAM - BERKSHIRE

A 1950’s detached chalet bungalow on a large detached plot in Wokingham, Berks underwent a substantial makeover with front, rear and side extensions and a complete internal re-fit to lift it to a 5 bedroom, 2 en-suite property with large vaulted glazing. To encapsulate the stunning views of the rear garden an extension to the existing kitchen was undertaken to create a large open-plan family, living and dining area as well as a formal living room for more intimate entertainment.

The entire dwelling was refitted using substantially upgraded insulation, triple glazing and intelligent underfloor heating to help reduce carbon emissions and for the dwelling to run efficiently as possible. The dwelling was also fitted out for smart-home capability with the ability to control all heating, lighting and appliances remotely from home.

The interior pallet used classy light greys and subtle detailing with warm wood finishes to compliment. Project completed in 2018.
