We appointed AtelierG to propose a modern redesign of our home in Winchester to maximise its potential and improve the light, and to achieve planning permission for the scheme within a conservation area.
Guy, produced a really creative design that was beyond our expectations. We were absolutely delighted with the proposal, which will add a modest extension to transform our home into a better quality light-filled space.Further, a real pleasure to work with, highly professional and responsive, and the design work was completed within the proposed timeline. The documentation and drawings produced for the planning application were of exceptional quality, and we were delighted that the scheme was granted planning approval.

Two Storey Extension
We have been really impressed with the professionalism and customer care from Guy. He was very thorough with his evaluation of our project and offered 3 great initial designs.
We have no experience at all in these matters and so really appreciate that Guy is a one stop shop and are able to advise us on all elements of the planning/build process and put us in touch with trusted industry experts for various aspects of the project. Two Storey Side Extension and Rear Extension and Remodelling
Guy helped us enormously, discussing our requirements and producing two designs for us to consider. Having decided which design to follow, he provided very detailed comprehensive plans. Through these plans he enabled the building regulations application process to run very smoothly which was approved without any changes. The professional guidance and patient support he provided during the process was much appreciated and helped us to understand the technical aspects of our project. We’re glad we engaged Guy to deal with the design of the work as the drawings gave us a clear picture of all the aspects involved in the project and will no doubt be of great assistance to the builder.

Extensions
We used Guy for the design of our house extension.
Guy was very personable and professional from the offset. We had a good idea of what we wanted - Guy was able to find options we hadn’t thought of in our design. We’ve never been through a planning process before; Guy easily explained the four stages in the process up to the point we could pass the drawings to a builder. His communication was excellent; he kept us updated with the progress of the planning application with the council, and easily foresaw any issues that might occur before they could arise, helping to shorten or bypass any delays. We would have no hesitation in recommending Guy’s services.

Side annex and new outhouse
We interviewed 3 others before finally appointing Guy. We liked his no-nonsense approach to the works we wanted to out, when the previous 2 were very 'on the fence'. Guy designed us a modern extension and outhouse in the grounds of our property that looked great on plan and his builders drawings were immaculate and I believe our builder will recommend him too.

Not being a specialist in Architecture myself, the best recommendation I can give is that the various builders I approached to quote for the work, based on Guy's plans, all commented (without being prompted) that the plans were very well drawn up and that they commended me for having such good drawings. Single Storey Extension
We invited Guy to discuss our need for help with a new extension project.
At his first site meeting with us he immediately identified our layout problems; he was very positive and bounced ideas off us straightaway with various sketches etc. Based on Guy’s impressive interpretation of what we needed, and of what we didn't know we needed, we commissioned him to provide architectural design proposals, layouts and construction drawings, plus handling full planning application processes and approval.
Through his creative thinking and excellent architectural/interior design skills we have remodelled our home to include a new living room extension, kitchen/dining room, study and utility that is modern, inviting and way beyond what we thought we could achieve with our budget.
